Bonjour from Pérouges!

On Wednesday, July 10th, we visited a medieval city called Pérouges that is located about 30 km from Lyon. This city is super cute and small. It only has population of one thousand and a half people. All of the houses are super small and cute. All the students from ILCF University spent about two hours there just exploring and having an awesome time! While I was there I walked around and got to taste the typical food to Perouges. I would love to return one day; it is like nothing I have ever seen or experienced before.

The streets were so medieval looking. My first experience in a town like this.

I felt like I was on a movie-set!

.

This is the beautiful town center. All the flowers and plants made it look so beautiful!

All the doors and doorways were quite small and more square-looking.

All the doors and doorways are terribly small. This doorway barely fit me and i'm only 5' 4".

I believe this is what they used to tell the time back then.

I just had to take a picture at the city square!

This may look like a pizza, but it's actually a dessert that Perouges is known for. It is a sweet pastry with a pizza-like base.

All of Lyon is very green. It reminds me a lot of the English country side.
